I decided to split my Netflix theater series between my Xomba account and here. On Xomba, I will be posting reviews of less serious films. Here, I shall be posting more recent and star studded films.
The first film I will be covering is Inglorious Basterds. A what if World War 2 Drama in which the Third Reich is taken down by a platoon of Jewish American soldiers called the Basterds, and a vengeful theater owner.
The first thing that surprised me was that this film isn't exactly what you would call action packed. True to Quentin Tarrantino's style, there is a great deal of dialog and character development. The Eponymous Basterds aren't even in this film a whole lot. Nevertheless, I did enjoy this film immensely; Any picture where Hitler gets his face machine gunned off is extremely satisfying to me.
Sorry to cut this review short, but the film was very long, and I have utter matters to attend to. I will try and write a more in depth review next time.
